Charlotte Gibson, is a certified meditation teacher, mindfulness coach, wellness author, and speaker. She has been teaching mindfulness and meditation for over 8 years from Australia to NYC.

Charlotte owns and runs her company, Mini Mindful Minds, which implements mindfulness into education, and opened The Happinest Meditation & Mindfulness Studio in Jan 2019.

Charlotte runs trainings and workshops at schools, organizations and corporate events.

Empowering teachers to become mindfulness experts in the classroom

In order to enthuse our students, it is vital that our educators understand the importance of, and fully embody, mindfulness in their own lives. Our students trust and learn from us teachers more than any other person in their school years, therefore we are the best people to facilitate the practice of mindfulness.

Mini Mindful Minds adapts their 3-part mindfulness staff training to cater to your school. Throughout this program, staff will become empowered to integrate mindfulness seamlessly into the classroom, and children will not want to go a day without it.

MODULE ONE

Mindful Parenting Workshops

Facilitating parents in creating a more peaceful mind, body and everyday life for them and their children

As parents, perhaps the most important thing we can give our children is the gift of our attention, full presence and support. This involves parents making space and being open to a mindfulness practice in their own lives, with the intention to facilitate this journey for their children.

Mini Mindful Minds offers custom workshops for parents. These can be hosted throughout a PTA meeting, set up at a school, or can be organized within the home. Throughout this workshop, we will talk the ins and outs of meditation and mindfulness and explore resources, tools and strategies to create a more mindful family and home.

Classroom Mindfulness Session

Sharing mindfulness tools and techniques for self exploration, and increased awareness, happiness and focus.

Drop In Classroom Sessions (60 Minutes)

Through art, play, cooking, craft, stillness, movement and a lot more, children will learn relevant tools and techniques to practice meditation and mindfulness. Unlike adult practices in meditation which may require extensive time working on stillness or breathwork, a child’s practice in mindful meditation is designed to engage the child quickly and is based on the experiences relating to concrete objects, such as gently relaxing and wobbling each part of the body like a jellyfish or listening very carefully to sounds.

  • Critical in helping regulate stress

  • Help to identify when feeling overly hyperactive, upset, distressed, or faced with difficult, unmanageable emotions

  • Offer a tangible and relevant opportunity to calm the nervous system and provide physical and mental relaxation

  • Assist with transitions and help process expectations (day’s schedule, instructions etc)

  • Strengthens focus and attention span 

  • Learn tools to fall, and stay, asleep

  • Stimulate joy and happiness

‘Mindfulness Box for minis' is a box set to promote the practice of mindfulness in your childrens’ everyday lives. This resource is designed for parents, guardians and teachers to understand, embody and promote mindfulness and meditation practice with your children on a daily basis.
